News: Doctor Who voted Best Audiobook of the Year 2010: The Time Lord receives over 40% of the public vote
Doctor Who: Dead Air by James Goss, read by David Tennant (AudioGO) has been crowned Best Audiobook of the Year 2010 in a public vote hosted by The Audiobook Store
James Goss, author and producer of Dead Air says:
‘I'm absolutely thrilled that Doctor Who: Dead Air has won - it's an amazing reading by David Tennant, and I'm really chuffed that it's gone down as well as it has, not just with Doctor Who fans but with the public as well.’

Runners up The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson, read by Saul Reichlin (Whole Story Audio Books) and The Colonel of Tamarkan – Philip Toosey and The Bridge on the River Kwai by Julie Summers, read by Anton Lesser (Chrome Audio) received 15% and 12% of the votes respectively.
The public vote opened on 5th July and thousands of votes were received before the voting period closed on 10th September. The winner was announced at 5pm on Saturday 18th September, at Chiswick Book Festival.
