The Galaxy National Book Awards 2011 was a six-part TV series entitled ‘BOOKED – Winners of the Galaxy® National Book Awards’ starting on 13 November on More4 running until 17 December.

The TV series, produced by Cactus TV for More4, has grown from the successful five-part series in 2010, which attracted an audience of approximately 1 million. It is sponsored by Galaxy®.

Agile Marketing orchestrates the promotion which is now a key platform to drive book sales for the selected titles in the run-up to the crucial Christmas period. The Galaxy® National Book Awards showcases the best of British writing & publishing, whilst celebrating books with wide popular appeal, critical acclaim and commercial success. According to Nielsen BookScan data, selected books have enjoyed significant sales boosts, including David Nicholls' One Day which enjoyed a 443% jump in sales in the week following the 2010 Galaxy National Book Awards.

There are 12 categories (including new categories and sponsors) and the winners were announced at the Awards Ceremony on 4th November 2011.
